Flint and
Jill Reed
have been members of the art world for 40 plus years as
artists - Flint is a painter and Jill's a potter. During that
time, they have been involved with exhibits & shows throughout the United States, as well as Greece, Spain, Switzerland and the West Indies.
Among
their accomplishments,
On the Guadalupe River, one of Flint's landscapes, was
presented and accepted by President and Laura Bush for inclusion
in the White House collection.

In 1991,
Flint was included in Whos Who in American Art. This
honor was a contributing factor to their decision in 2006 to open
Mustang Island Art Gallery, their own
fine art gallery in Port Aransas,
Texas.
In
addition to a state-of-the-art gallery, they included the work
of additional artists in a building that housed
studios for both Flint and Jill, allowing them to work together.
"Owning
our own multi-artist gallery was a great experience, and we enjoyed every minute of
it," Flint and Jill proclaim. "But, after Hurricane
Harvey in 2017, we decided to reduce our footprint and establish
the Flint Reed Art Gallery. In this more intimate setting, Flint
and Jill can
spend more time concentrating on creative projects and working
closely to ensure customers find the perfect pieces to
compliment and enhance their home or business."
